In order for us to achieve this commitment, we want our new home owners to understand how our home building process works. We believe that a positive building experience is about the entire home building process, not just the final product.
So here is what you can expect during our major phases of construction.
Construction of your new Renowned Home has officially commenced. Prior to the slab being poured, your site has been cleared of any debris & the plumbing has been fitted out. Once the framing for the foundation has been constructed, the concrete will be poured. For the concrete slab to cure properly there will be no activity on your site for a short time.
At this stage your new home really starts to take shape. Bricks will be delivered to your site & the Bricklayers will either string or chalk out where the walls of your home are before beginning to lay the brick walls. Time frames for this stage may vary according to your Renowned Home design.
Now that the walls of your home are up, roof timbers will be delivered to your site & your team of carpenters will cut & fit together the roof joists in order to create the frame of your roof.
At Renowned Homes we want to get your roof tiles or sheeting on as quickly as possible in order to protect the timber frames. Depending of course on the weather, roof tilers as well as plumbers will work to complete your roof as quickly as possible.
Lock up is a significant stage as it signifies the last stretch of the construction process. All windows & doors will be fitted to your Renowned Homes design so that you can physically ‘lock up’ your home. All exterior finishes will be completed at this stage as well.
The internal features of your homes design will now begin development. Cabinets will be installed, tiles will be laid and bathroom and kitchen fixtures installed. You will be able to get a good sense of what your home will look & feel like once it is complete.
The day you have been waiting for has arrived! At this final stage your home build you will receive the keys to your brand new home. You will be able to go over the construction & finishes to ensure that any final touches are made. Shortly you will be able to move into your brand new house.
